Priming: Comrehensive Plan

A concept is being worked through a Cellular Cooperative, which is an implementation of a Cellular Organization.

It is going to be called the Integrated Cooperative Network, and will initially consist of 3 legal entities - or Cells, which will be:

  1. provide.io llc
  • A Private Cellular Cooperative.
  • Architect and incubator of the ICN and Contribulo.
  • Performs system design, incubation, implementation, management, services, and more.
  • Creates the tools, technology, and infrastructure required to support the ICN, and its member Cells.
  • Operationalizes the ICN, and Contribulo.
  • Operates the initial network seed Cell - the Officium.
    • Initially composed of 3-9 senior knowledge workers. Such as various kinds of engineers, economists, lawyers, governmental officials, etc.
    • Creates, and launches, the ICN.
    • Performs the initial management of Cellular Venture integration.
    • Performs management of the Cellular Venture.
    • Models successful CVs.
  1. Integrated Cooperative Network LLC
  • A non-profit that focuses on investing in democratically-run businesses within local communities.
  • Focuses creating, and supporting, the optimal integration of the systems designed to support a polycentric goverened built from the ground up.
  • Is the mesh-network - Mycorium - that supports ecosystem.
  • development, systems, and integration vectors for, and within, the network of Cells, Cellular Ventures, and other supporting. It defines the Dynamic Operating Agreements within the network.
  1. Contribulo LLC
  • An entity that's structured to participate in the public markets.
  • Mirrors Dynamic Operating Agreements within the ICN, so that Cellular Ventures may produce goods and services that will benefit from the public markets.

The continuous, optimal, integration of the three entities will be intrinsic, and vital, to the successful operation of the ICN.

The Officium will define the structure of each entity so that it is unviable to separate them, because if separtaion is desired then there is a critical failure in the systems that must be immediately addresses.

Each entity will have a rotating "Board of Director"/Leadership Team that is a member of the Officium. This is done to best assure alignment of the ICN's leadership, and systems, through time.

We hypothesize that enforcing rotation within leadership positions will make it exponentially more difficult for one, or a faction of, toxic/hostile actors more difficult for bad/hostile/toxic actors to take over the ICN.

Cells may come together to form Cellular Ventures. CVs may range from a single deliverable - like an art installation - through to a large multi-dimensional project, like a software platform.

For example, a Cell with cooks, a Cell with event coordinators, and a logistics Cell, may come together to form a catering CV.

Or, another Cell might be compromised of open source developers who are paid to maintain, and pay attention to, some of the most vital pieces of software for the internet. The CV may consist of the developers, project managers, and other appropriate Cells to support, and grow the mission, of the agreed upon CV.

All Cells that are incubated by provide.io, and the ICN, will be majority owned by the ICN. Member-owners will receive the rest. This will ensure that if the member-owners have a conflict which needs a tie breaker, and other such situations, that the ICN is able to weigh in.

However, while the member-owners of each Cell won't have a majority voting stake of their Cell, they will then have a vote within the ICN ecosystem. Therefore the Cell members ICN votes will still have the ability to influence the Cell.

ICN ecosystem votes may be weighted, or not weighted. These are theoretical models that are still in development.

The ICN will be governed through the Five Foundational Frameworks - PARTS, which are:

  1. Participatory Evolution Model (PEM)
  2. Adaptive Resilience Model (ARM)
  3. Resilience Operations Model (ROM)
  4. Transformative Infrastructure Model (TIM)
  5. Systems Integration Model (SIM)

The PARTS framework ensure the appropriate systems architecture, and socioemotional/conflict resolution/well being support systems, are in place to best support the long-term harmony, and endurance, of the ICN, and all of its member-owners.

There are 3 principles of areas focus (MMM):

  • Members - and the systems that support them.
  • Missions - and the members that inspire them.
  • Markets - and how to most strategically approach markets.

And there are 7 values (ETHICAL):

  1. Empathy
  2. Transparency
  3. Harmony & Holistic Health
  4. Integrity
  5. Collaboration
  6. Accountability
  7. Learning & Longevity
